well i have posted my avatar and i like the idea of using the avatars as a tutor of sorts, similar to how they are used in the moodle website. these tutors could be used as a different medium for classrooms instead of having a classroom teacher always being up the front talking. using an avatar may give the children something different to watch and be involved with rather than always interacting with a teacher. i know from my time at school (both primary and high) that unless a teacher made a lesson interesting and interactive i got very bored very quickly. these avatars if used when i was at school probably would have made school alot more interesting for me i know that. i will add more to my avatars speaking abilities over the next cpl of days. thanks, stacy.
